things be crazy up in here!

Well, school started on Monday. And I think my entire week can be summed up into one word:

WOOF.

It's C R A Z Y ! But I seriously love being back. I'm am literally at school from 7:30 in the morning until 10:00 at night every day. And I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Rehearsals for two amazing shows. I get to go perform one of these shows at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in LA next month - a huuuge honor. 18 credit hours. AAT.

And being surrounded by my beautiful friends. Amazing teachers. Beautiful costumes. Working on my art every single day. I am truly blessed.

This week I had what was literally one of the hardest days of my entire life up until now. I haven't been able to sleep lately (3 hours a night. ugggh) and I was just EXHAUSTED. Mentally and physically. and I had lost my phone. And I just felt like I sucked at everything that I want so badly to be great at.

The minute I stepped foot into my house I just started sobbing. Sweet husband put my in a lovely bath and cleaned our house. And while I was sobbing and sobbing, I couldn't help but think about how truly lucky I am.

I know that I am growing in what I do. Every day I learn more and I become better. Some days are hard, and it feels like you take a step back, but those days are so necessary. It means that I'm trying. And that means the world to me.

I never thought I would be able to be an artist. I have always had the passion and the desire, but I never had the courage. I was always too scared and I let my fears rule the roost so I took my eye off of my goals.

But now I am where I want and need to be. I am trying. And I am going to have terrible days. And I am going to have amazing days. And they'll all be worth it.

And I get to be around great people every day. And I come home to the most supportive husband. I have a beautiful, warm home. I have the support of an amazing family. I am doing what I love.

So, life is insane. But I'm happy. And now I have sleeping pills, so things should be getting even better!
